Schwinn e-bikes have a motor and battery integrated into the bike. When you pedal, the motor activates and provides an extra level of assistance that you control with a thumb pad on the handlebar. There are five different levels of pedal-assist for you to choose from, which offer e-assistance up to 20 miles per hour. Depending on the level of assistance used, weight on the bike, and the path you take, the battery will last up to 45 miles and fully recharges (using a standard household outlet) in about six hours. The cruiser-style EC1 features a vintage-style aluminum frame with a comfortable upright riding position and Schwinn dual-spring saddle.
